SugarPea Designs is hopping with My Sweet Petunia!

Hello and Happy Friday everyone!! I'm so excited for you all to be joining us for this super fun collaboration. I have a fun and easy project to share with you all using my SugarPea Design products and my Mini Misti and Creative Corners.

I will also be sharing some step by step photos to show you how I created this clean and simple design.
Let's get started, shall we!

See step by step process below...
Stamps and Dies used will be listed at end of tutorial.
Step 1: I started by placing my angled triangle piece in bottom corner. I then slid my paper in place where I wanted and held in place with magnets & corner piece.
I stamped sentiment using 3 different colors of red in to make an ombre effect.
Inks used: Ladybug, Rhubarb Stalk & Poppy
Stem: Pear Tart

Step 2: Move paper up 1/4"

Step 3: Because I'm stamping at an angle, my next sentiment wasn't long enough to go across paper completely. So all I did was stamp it off the paper, this way the beginning will be at the end and you'll be able to see all the little sentiments.

Step 4: Move paper all the way to top 1" and all the way to left edge leaving only 1/4". You will also need to move your triangle edge up a 1/2". We are going to do some more stamping off edge to get a couple sets of repetitive books. This will make our design look coherent with the sentiment above.

Step 5: Remove triangle edge in order to stamp last image. I used a boarder stamp here and only inked and stamped the part I needed, this way you don't get ink on your Misti ruler guides.

Step 6: Last part was to stamp our cute little book worm. All I did here was use the corner brace pieces to hold paper in place and make for easy placement of worm without anything interfering and getting in way.

I'm not gonna show this step, but I also ended up using my large Misti Tool to stamp my green background paper using the cute little Chalkboard stamp from the Class Act stamp set.
